All Breathwork sessions are different, but one-to-one sessions have a common structure consisting of three parts.
1. Beginning the session
This is the time for the rebirthee to talk about how he or she is. This may include how is your daily life, relationships, work, what makes you happy and what are you struggling with. Also, how you were feeling after the last session, what has since changed in your life, did you have dreams that you remember, any memories that have come up. This is the time to explore and reflect on how you are.
2. Breathing
While you are sitting or lying down I will ask you to focus on your breathing and shortly after, to start breathing in a conscious connected way. The breath will take you on a journey where the experiences in a need of healing will be brought up from the unconscious into consciousness. The experiences may occur in a form of a memory of a particular event from your past, a feeling or bodily sensation, a belief or an idea which does not work for you any more and needs changing, an inspiring thought, realisation.
You will stay in the energy of the breathing trance for as long as it is needed for the healing to take place. You may experience one big energy release or a few small ones, you may enter a state of blissful stillness or find your body moving together with the energy flow.
After a while, lasting anything from few moments up to 90 minutes, the breathing journey is over and you return to normal consciousness feeling calm and at peace.
I will encourage you then to lie down in your chosen, comfortable position to integrate what you have experienced.
3. Discussion and Sharing
This is the time where we discuss the session looking for the understanding and the relevance of it to your life. Sometimes you may need many words to integrate the experience and sometimes very little or none.
A full Breathwork session with my assistance lasts approximately 2,5 hours.
